Georges Laval Cumières Premier Cru Brut Nature is a coupage of the Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier varieties from seven plots located in the Cumières Premier Cru area in the Marne Valley. Clay-calcareous soils are cultivated according to the principles of biodynamic agriculture. The musts obtained ferment and age for a minimum of 24 months in old barrels with their native yeasts before being bottled for second fermentation. The resulting champagne is not filtered or clarified and does not contain liqueur d’expédition, which makes it a brut nature champagne. An aromatic nose, with notes of white and yellow fruits and hints of nuts and toast. On the palate it is silky, with fine and well integrated bubbles and an energetic structure. It is full of freshness as well as having a mineral hue and a long finish.
