Chateau Peymouton is the “second wine” of the Grand Cru Classe estate Chateau Laroque in Saint Emilion, France, and stretches over 22 hectares across the splendid property of the Beaumartin family. This historic estate has existed since the 12th century, with a spectacular 18th century renovation that now stands majestically over its vineyards.
The vineyards are farmed with the utmost care, giving all due respect this exacting and totally prestigious appellation. With this thoroughness and passion for their work, the Beaumartin family today offer a classic Bordeaux blend, predominately Merlot with smaller amounts of Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Malbec and Petit Verdot.
This vintage offers a wine rather full bodied with delicate finesse, releasing delicate aromas of small red fruit and giving a keen attack with a long aromatic finish. A beautiful and well balanced blend 65% Merlot, 25% Cabernet Franc, and 10% Cabernet Sauvignon.
