Le cadet is an endearing French nickname given to a young apprentice learning his craft. John Belsham was once a cadet in Bordeaux where he learnt to make wine . The wine salutes all great mentors whilst the apprentice embraces the responsibility to one day pass the knowledge gained on to another cadet. Sensitive farming and gentle handling of the grapes have created a vibrant, dry style with flavours of summer citrus, wild thyme and crunchy river stones all beautifully balanced and delicious. Enjoy with frittatas, salads, pasta and seafood.
