Grown in stony soils on the edge of Lake Dunstan in Lowburn, Central Otago. The fruit packed lots of flavour and was well poised, with great acidity. The wine was pressed to barrel where it fermented naturally and underwent 100% malolactic fermentation.
This Chardonnay has a beautiful white stone fruit nose and a hint of struck match. The palate is textural, layered and perfectly balanced. The acid, fruit and oak used in this wine sit well together. Great for drinking now through the next five years.
